Multimedia Video Editor
Anvil Digital is looking for a Multimedia Video Editor to join our team of talented designers, Flash developers, .net developers, 3D specialists and video editors to collaborate and work closely on corporate videos and promotional material.
Absolutely Required
- Strong capture, edit and encoding fundamentals
- Competency with lighting set up, basic audio engineering, and extremely adept at shooting video in a variety of studio and non-studio environments
- Proficiency with Adobe Production package (including Photoshop, After Effects and Illustrator). Experience and knowledge working with Flash and 3D skills is an asset (preferably 3d Studio Max 7 or later)
- Comprehensive understanding with processes and techniques associated with non-linear software
- Ability to create shot-lists and storyboards using existing script and in some cases assist in writing scripts
- Competence in the current video media technologies, as well as a strong desire for learning
- Education in video, multimedia, new media or related field
Strongly Recommended
- Someone who enjoys staying up to date on current multimedia trends and techniques
- Skilled with the operation of mid sized camera equipment such as the Canon XL1 and Sony Z1U
- Strong skills in Adobe After Effects
Nice To Have
- Photography skills for internal purposes
- Familiarity with and part of the Web 2.0 community
- Familiarity with Sony Vegas preferred
